EAC Planning & Design is a full-service Custom Residential and Commercial design firm, 

headquartered at the Orange County coast in Newport Beach, CA, also with offices in

Palm Desert, CA and Henderson, NV. Under the leadership of William R. ‘Bill’ Edwards, as

Principal and Director of Design, EAC has enjoyed more than four decades of successful   

experience in the design of luxury Custom Homes, large Estates and Ranches, Commercial 

/ Retail and Office developments, boutique Hotels, Bed & Breakfast Inns and destination 

Event Venues, Recreational projects, etc.  

 

Originally licensed to practice architecture more than thirty years ago, Bill has earned a 

very solid reputation in the design industry, having achieved numerous awards, articles in

major publications, extremely positive testimonials from a wide range of very satisfied

clients, on local, regional, and international projects. With early East Coast training, a 

formal education, then extensive experience at leading Southern California architectural 

firms, Bill gained a clear vision from coast to coast as to diverse design themes and 

vernacular, thus launching his own firm more than 40 years ago. His background and

experience have clearly benefited a wide range of valued clientele with a unique approach

to each and every project, in the creation of very ‘unique design solutions for a small world’,

which has become the motto of EAC – Planning & Design. 

 

EAC has become known over the decades for delivering comprehensive planning and 

design services in a timely, cost-effective manner, with a strong emphasis on long-term 

client relationships. Bill Edwards as Principal, remains the primary point of contact for

every project, supported by an experienced team of designers, project managers, and
